Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Sequenzz collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. If you have a question, email noor@sequenzz.com.
Information we collect
- Messages you send us. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and message.
- Order details. When you buy, we collect your name, email address, country, billing details and what you bought. Card details are handled by our payment provider only. We never see or store your full card number.
- Project materials. Briefs, scripts, logos, images, footage, and the photos, video clips or voice recordings of anyone you want to appear in your videos.
- Website data. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.
How we use it
- To reply to your messages and make the videos you order.
- To manage your orders and subscriptions, and keep financial records.
- To keep our website and payments secure and prevent fraud.
- To improve our website and services.
- To show finished videos in our portfolio, unless you ask us not to.
We use your information because we need it to provide what you’ve ordered, because we have a legitimate interest in running and protecting our business, because the law requires it (for example tax records), or because you’ve given permission, which you can withdraw at any time.
Faces, voices and AI tools
To make your videos we use third-party generative AI tools. We upload only the materials needed for your project. Photos, clips and voice samples of a person are used only to make your videos: never for anyone else’s project, and never to train our own models. Where a provider offers the choice, we pick settings that stop it from using your materials to train its public models.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with services that help us run Sequenzz, or when the law requires it:
- Our payment provider processes card payments and subscriptions.
- Supabase stores the messages sent through our contact form.
- Country.is looks up which country your IP address is in, only so our contact form can pre-select your WhatsApp country code. It returns just the country; we don’t store your IP address.
- Hostinger hosts this website.
- Generative AI, email and file storage providers help us make and deliver your videos.
- Google Fonts, YouTube and Unsplash supply fonts, videos and images on our pages, so your browser connects to them and they receive your IP address. YouTube videos use privacy-enhanced mode and load only when you press play.
Some of these providers process information outside your country. We rely on their safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.
Cookies
We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. When you pay online, our payment provider may use cookies or similar technology that are needed to take your payment and prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
- Contact messages: up to 24 months.
- Project files: 12 months after delivery, so we can help with later edits, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or keep them longer.
- Photos, clips and voice samples of people: deleted when your project or monthly plan ends, unless you ask us to keep them for future videos.
- Order and financial records: as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it or send it to another service, and you can object to how we use it. Email noor@sequenzz.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
